My wife and I went to The Kettle Black for dinner a couple weeks ago while visiting Phoenix. They have about 8 or 9 beers on tap, mostly local craft offerings (plus Guinness, of course), and a selection of about a dozen bottles & cans. Overall a decent enough beer selection.

The place is very pubby, with a lot of exposed wood and general dimness reminiscent of a basement -- a vibe that I like! Service was prompt and friendly up at the bar; I had the bacon onion burger and my wife had the fish and chips, and the food was great. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if you like a pub kind of place; perhaps not a destination for craft beer but at least you won't be left hanging.

Rustic-meets-modern pub with good food selection, great service, and a decently wide variety of craft brews to choose from. Weekends and nights are usually pretty loud and busy, depending on when the Suns are playing, etc. Service is good though, we were treated well and checked on regularly. I thought that the food was good, for pub fare, and the beer selection covered locals and included Bells, etc., with style ranging from lights and sours to IPA's and Browns.
