Not enough foam. It's a pilsner, it's supposed to have a thick creamy foam. But nothing quite like it. The nose is standard. Grainy, some herbal hops. The taste lacks crispyness of a real good pilsner. It's a bit too sweet to my taste. As if the lagering phase hasn't been long enough. Nice bitterness at the end of the sip, but it doesn't serve any purpose. Disappointing given the fact that I've always been a huge fan of Vrooden.

A:
Crystal clear with a big, fluffy, persistent white head. Great retention; sticky sheets of lacing. (4.5)
S:
Dough and spicy hop aromas, lemongrass, pepper, crackers. (4)
T:
Rich pils malt flavor with light herbal hops to counter it with a crackery malt finish. (3.75)
M:
Clean and fairly light bodied with persistent carbonation and a soft finish. (3.75)
O:
This is a really tasty pilsner.
I feel like it is fairly close to style, though maybe a little heavy and a little sweet, but I definitely enjoyed it and it is as good as any other lager you'll find in a bottle in Quebec (at least at the moment).
It looks nearly perfect. It is a brilliant golden color with thick, persistent head and lazy champagne carbonation in the glass. The aroma and flavor are both nicely balanced between crackery malt and Saaz hops, with no overbearing DMS. The feel is nice and there is a teeter-totter effect between maltiness and spicy hops that leads you into the finish. It is a touch too sweet I think, but I might be nitpicking. Really tasty, drinkable, thirst-quenching beer. I will definitely have this one again. (3.75)

Bottle: Poured a bright hazy yellow color ale with a nice medium foamy head with some retention and light lacing. Aroma of cereal and residual sugar notes are interesting. Taste is a bit heavier then I was expecting with clean cereal notes, light grassy and mineral notes and some residual sugar notes. Body is full for style with good carbonation. A little bit heavy for the style but well brewed nonetheless.
