The origins of the Sahti date back to the Viking peoples who inhabited Scandinavia between the 9th and 11th centuries. Brewed for centuries on Finnish farms, it is a living artefact of these immemorial times.

We brewed our Sahti using traditional Finnish methods.

Flavors: Fruity (banana) / Caramel / Juniper

473 mL can thanks to MartinT. Slightly murky amber body with an ample white head. Smells of brown bread, banana yeast aromas, some herbal notes that might be juniper. Tastes more distinctly of juniper. Bready malt and some caramel sweetness. Heavy banana yeast flavors in the back. Soft carbonation, following some heavy swirling to make it more "authentic." It's a sipping beer. I can enjoy it in small quantities, but no so sure about a whole can.
