Can: Poured a deep amber color ale with a large off-white foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of heavy acra,elixed malt notes with some brandy barrel notes also clearly coming through. Taste is a mix of heavy caramelized malt with light residual, sugar notes and grainy notes with some Brandy barrel notes rounding off rough edges. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Nice nightcap for a style that is not brewed often enough.
