Received in June 2023 as a farewell present as I left my previous job. Drunk a week later.
L: Looks like hazy, opaque, oxidised pineapple juice in the glass. A fluffy white head sits proudly atop the glass and lacing is left on the way down. Small, fast-rising bubbles can just be seen at the outer edges of the glass.
S: Smells like a Caipirinha cocktail, with pineapple. lime and mint notes. Very nice!
T: That Caipirinha vibe follows into the mouth, with a limey/pineapple tropical note and a harsh note that comes across as mint - I often get shampoo in beers stacked full of hops, but this one definitely leans towards mint for me. Still, the thick body deals with that harshness and it comes across as a very nice tropical fruit basket of a beer.
M: mouthfeel is quite soft, but there's a definite carbonic prickle. With these hazy beers that have that harsh hop note in them a full mouthfeel is important to knock the harshness back into bearable territory, and this one does it well.
O: I have really enjoyed this one. It's a hazy beer that is still definitely beer rather than alcoholic fruit punch, and would definitely be on my drink again list, if such a list existed. Which it might...
Cheers!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
