Tidal Shift 10 is a big hitter! 10% ABV, Triple Dry Hopped with Mosaic, Cashmere and Citra, finished with a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
Be careful, this beer hides its strength incredibly well—almost like you're drinking a regular 6% hazy IPA! The hop aroma hits you like a 10-footer at Bells. On the first sip, the mouthfeel is full, with very low bitterness, then the flavours of tropical fruit and coconut from the triple dry hop develop and linger on your taste buds.

I grabbed this one at the Bells Beach Brewery Bar in Geelong in March 2024 and drank it a week later.

L: In the glass, it looks like tropical fruit juice and has a nice, fluffy head and lots of lazy bubbles moving up the glass.

S: The smell evokes the sweet and juicy flavours of tropical fruit mixed with the tanginess of overripe pineapple. There's also a hint of shampoo and a touch of resin that almost reminds me of glue (is it maybe bubblegum?) but which drags the marks down.

T: This beer is definitely not for the craft beer neophyte! It has a bold diesel flavour nicely complemented by the thick body, tropical fruit, pineapple, and citrus notes. The spicy alcohol taste is also quite prominent but adds a nice kick to the overall flavour. That said, the more I drank it, the more it grew on me. But then maybe it's just the 10% ABV talking!

M: This beer is like a tropical vacation in a glass! It has a full mouthfeel and a zing that reminds you of biting into a juicy pineapple slice. You'll feel the alcohol content, but that's how you know it's a triple IPA, hazy style. When you swallow, you'll feel a warm sensation from the alcohol, and the carbonated bubbles will tickle your tongue.

O: I must admit that one drink took a little while to win me over, but by the end of the glass, I was really starting to enjoy it. At 10% ABV, it's definitely not a drink you want to overdo, but it would be perfect for kicking off a party or sipping on as a nightcap.

Cheers!
