I purchased this one at the brewery in December 2025 and drank it a week later.
L: This one looks like a pineapple cocktail - it's a hazy, soft, milky yellow. There was a brilliant white, five-centimetre-high head that diminished quickly but retained its brilliance all the way through. No bubbles were visible in the glass.
S: The nose is the expected tropical cocktail, dominated by white peach and coconut.
T: The taste is peach, pineapple and coconut, and similar to the visuals, it strongly suggests a cocktail with similar ingredients. That said, that seemingly inevitable shampoo note beloved of many hazy IPAs never lurks far from the surface. I have gotten used to it and now like that note, but some will find it a little off-putting. There's a nice kick of bitterness that rounds out the beer and stops it from being overly sweet.
M: It's a thick and hazy boy, with smooth mouthfeel, mild carbonation and medium carbonic kick.
O: What's not to love about a well-crafted, modern, sweet, lightly bittered, tropical IPA? Nothing!
Cheers!
