Poured a copper body with minimal head and touches of lace that died quick. The aroma is more of a grainy, bitter hoppiness with herbal qualities more than hearty, almost bready aromas. Unlike the aroma, the hops are in background and do provide balance and a bit of a dry, herbal quality to finish. The main flavor is sweetness from caramel malt and at times even had hints of dark fruits. Medium to heavy bodied beer that is hearty and filling and has enough complexity to definitely warrant a try.
