From the pint can, it pours a very dark brown with a vibrant, overly large, light brown head. The head size and retention caused issues with pouring the rest of the beer. The nose got light coffee and almost a root beer like scent. The taste was reasonably pleasant with roasted malts and coffee,

My first beer from this local brewery....a good one. The brewery calls this beer a "coffee stout" and it certainly features coffee!!! I poured it into a pint glass and observed a dense black body with some reddish highlights coming through. The head was medium sized, a light tan color with good retention and lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste were fairly simple: a slightly sweet, toasted malt backbone and lots of coffee!!! The flavor was very enjoyable and the coffee aroma was very good. Mouthfeel was rich and smooth, little hint of the8.5% .abv. A nicely done stout!!!!

There does not appear to be a date on the can.
Appearance: The body is black and it has a medium-sized khaki head with a creamy texture. It has good head retention and lacing.
Aroma: There is a light coffee aroma to the beer.
Taste: There is a bit of a chocolate flavor up front, then a touch of this burnt caramel sweetness mixed with a rich earthy carbon flavor comes in. A pine flavor shortly joins afterwards, and it finishes with this earthy mixture of pine and espresso flavors. There are a lot of flavors to be enjoyed here.
Mouthfeel: It is medium-full bodied with a nice smooth texture. It's easy to drink.
Overall: The beer has a really nice, rich flavor profile. The label on the beer calls this a "Coffee Stout" and there is some coffee flavor. There is this pine flavor which works well with the coffee. It is an outstanding beer with a simple set of flavors that are delivered in a robust manner. I would drink it again and I recommend it.
