Against bad beer?
Welcome back spring, and welcome back our Maibock, Mutiny!
A Maibock is a German-style lager, also known as a heller bock. “Mai” is German for “May,” and this beer was traditionally brewed as a transitional beer and for the short Bavarian spring. It’s malty, crisp, and slightly peppery from the hops.

From the crowler, it pours a clear deep golden amber color with a modest white head that soon diminishes to nothing - the problems with crowlers, I guess. The nose is malty, followed by a nice maltiness in the mouth.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
