From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This solid little oatmeal pours a rugged brownish black with a nice head
of khaki foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty layer, and sport some
light lacing. Nose of chocolate, coffee, dark roasted malts, and subtle oat
notes. Flavors surpass the nose with nice roasted malts, chocolate, coffee,
mellow oats, subtle brulee, and faint dark fruits. Mouthfeel is medium, smooth,
light carbonation, and a roasted balanced sweet finish.
Overall, an exceptional brew from a very good brewery!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating on it but I think it was a pretty recent release since my local store I bought it at said the Three Tigers cans were new to them. Don't remember them canning in the past either except for crowlers. Served in a Three Tigers pint glass, the beer pours dark brown/black with not quite an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like oats, roasted malt, dark chocolate and some vanilla. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some burnt/charred malt and coffee flavors noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and easy to drink with a moderate amount of carbonation. Thought this was a good overall brew, been way too long since I was last at Three Tigers so this is a reminder for me to head over to Granville soon!

I am trying this beer off the tapper at the brewery as part of a six sample flight. It poured an opaque dark with tan head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle chocolate, roast and vanilla notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with chocolate and roast malt base and hints of vanilla. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
