From the 16 oz can in a snifter with a big thanks to Bluejacket74 for this one! Cheers Dude!
This beast pours a coal black with dark tea highlights and a moderate head of khaki foam that
settles to a thick ring and a thin dusty layer with faint lacing. Nose of dark chocolate, bourbon,
oak, dark fruits, molasses, and dark coffee nuances. Flavors surpass the nose with dark berry
notes of blueberry and blackberry, dark raisin bread, dark chocolate, molasses, brulee, more
pronounced coffee notes than the nose eluded to, deep char and roast, tobacco, and vinous
brandy notes with warmth. Mouth feel is full, smooth, rich, coating, warming, light carbonation,
and finishing with a nice bitter malt note.

Overall, a stunner that should be entered into beer fests because IT WILL WIN. PERIOD.

A must visit brewery that the Little Lady and I were privileged to visit along with Bluejacket74
a year or two back.

Cheers

16 ounce can, no dating on it but think this was a November 2023 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both good. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like burnt/charred malt, vanilla, bourbon, dark fruit, molasses and dark chocolate. For the most part I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some oak, dark bread, caramel and a bit of anise. All the flavors seem well balanced with no one flavor overpowering the others. Lots of barrel character in this one, really flavorful brew! Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick, rich and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was an excellent barrel aged imperial stout, really hope this will be released again in the future because Three Tigers did a great job with it!
