From the 16 oz can in a snifter via Bluejacket74! Cheers Dude!
This excellent imperial pours a deep muddled opaque with dark brown
highlights and a nice head of tan foam that settles to a thick ring, thin dusty
layer, and sports some nice legs. Nose of dark raisin bread, rum, chocolate,
dark berry notes, and subtle coffee dashed with vanilla. Flavors find 11 on the
amplifier. Run drenched dark raisin bread, vanilla, dark chocolate, coffee, light char,
deep roasted goodness, and dark berry notes of black and blueberry. Mouth feel is
full, smooth, rich, moderately warming, light carbonation, and a subtly dry finish.
Overall, this brewery was a treat when we visited with Bluejacket74 and this fine
imperial proves their deft of brewing prowess.
Excellent!
Cheers

16 ounce can, no canning date on the can or label but pretty sure this was a February 2024 release. Served in a snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent enough. I like the aroma, the brew smells like rum, vanilla, dark fruit, roasted malt and some coffee. Taste is similar to the aroma, but there's the addition of some dark bread and a bit of licorice flavors. Good amount of barrel character. Mouthfeel/body is full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this one a lot, definitely recommended especially if you like imperial stouts and/or rum barrel aged brews!
