At 6.5% ABV and a whopping 110 IBU our IPA delivers pure hoppy smoothness. Big hop additions of Citra hops in the whirlpool and massive dry-hopping pairs well with the famed Vermont Ale
yeast strain.
yeast strain.

Bought this because the can art was cool. Got it home and was surprised to see all the negative reviews. Then I smelled it. Super malty smelling with some sort of off-scent. Taste is extremely malty as well. Whats going on here? Looks like this has been going on for 3 years at least with this beer.

Maybe 10-15 years ago this would've been a decent/passable IPA, but nowadays a malt-focused IPA with slight off flavors won't cut it. I heard the brewer doesn't care for IPA's - well, this shows it.

Bad all they way around. Pours almost brown. Aroma smells tainted. Taste is rained. Drain pour. Sorry boys. Back to the drawing board. I won't try this ever again.

Pours with a nice head. cloudy golden look with decent head that dissipates pretty quick. Off smell - sour...that doesn't fit with an IPA. Taste is off....like something in the recipe doesn't work with the style. I'm drinking it only because I now don't want to waste it but won't buy this again.

Bottle from Greg and Jane's
Hazy lemon yellow with a bubbly white head. Bitter astringent soapy with a bit of a peppery clove phenol thing going on. Some cross contamination or infection is starting here. I was impressed with the first few beers from this brewery but lately they've been off.
