Black/brown appearance.
A violent pour yielded a nice khaki head; strong lace.
Dill pickle, fresh earth, cream, mild orange peel & faint whiskey heat in the nose.
Creamy, medium thick mouthfeel.
Dill pickle, dark chocolate, orange peel & faint cream flavors.
Whiskey heat emerged as this warmed. A lot going on here, but it is abrasive and the barrel overwhelms the base beer entirely. Not one I'll return to.
