Also known as Super G-Lov

A Milkshake IPA made with Super Galena hops plus lactose, orange, and vanilla. Tastes mostly like an orange creamsicle, but it's also a beer. The brew house is a little ol' place where we can drink together.

16 oz single can. Pours a hazy golden sunset color with an off white head. Smell is oranges and vanilla. Taste follows nose with citrus and vanilla milk sugar. A sweet mouth feel like a creamsicle , some caramel malts.

This is new. I like the idea of not limiting sweet beers to stouts and this one does a decent job. Overall okay but the big downfall is the lack of flavor.

16oz can. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It left thin rings of lace on the glass. It smelled of vanilla, cream, orange and sweet caramel. Nice vanilla flavors with creamy milk, sweet orange and toasted caramel.

16oz pounder can. This is a pounder, not a tall boy, and I'll fight to the death on that.

Cloudy with a sudsy head that falls away fast. Very smelly, after the crack and pour the hop aromas filled the room: fresh grass, lemon, weed, some kind of berry... The feel is nice and creamy, and not over or under-carbonated, and the taste translates a ton of that dank hop scent into juicy, funky, citrusy goodness. A little rubber off-flavor, but not bad. Not picking up any vanilla and the amount of lactose seems to be on the lower end.

Good. A milkshake IPA that delivers slight orange creamsicle flavor while keeping the bitter hops as the main attraction

I tried this at the brewery whilst in town for a work conference. The beer poured a hazy orangish and had thin white head that left a nice lacing. The scent had sweet fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with fruit salad presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall its a good beer.

From a 16oz can:

Appearance: Goldish-brown haze, ok head.

Smell: Creamy, bit of vanilla.

Taste: Tingly bitterness, then creamy mildly sweet orange. Moderate bitterness in finish.

Overall: Picked up a 4 pack as it was $10ish, probably a little old. Not too bad, I'm not really digging the milkshake ipa trend but this wasn't bad. Enough bitterness to keep me interested.

Had on tap. This one is a bit of a mess. Golden body lacking enough haze for a milkshake, but looks ok enough for an ipa. Smell has faint orange and vanilla, but the hops and lactose combine to smell sweaty after. Taste is a watery orange and vanilla mess, with some rubber flavor in the finish. Feel is soapy, and just feels like the beer is systematically flawed in construction. Hard pass.

The crowler describes this as an orange creamsicle of a beer, which is spot on. The burnt orange color props up a white dense head, and the oranges carry through on the nose and taste to combine with the lactose to create the previously referenced orange creamsicle aroma and taste. Very well executed.

Poured from 16oz can into glass. No canning date information found.
Murky, pale gold colored body. Two finger, bright white head upon pouring, settles to bubbly cap and ring. Sheets of lacing.
Aroma is orange and lactose. Also has a rubber inner tube smell.
Taste is orange, vanilla, and lactose, and kind of a butyl rubber flavor.
Medium to full mouth feel. Good carbonation.
Subpar milk shake IPA, with a harsh, artificial orange flavor and an off putting, jarring smell and flavor. Has all the components of a milk shake IPA but not well put together.

Pours a nice darker golden color. The head is 1 finger, with decent retention. There's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The nose is fairly citrusy. Leans toward orange to my nose.
Taste - a smooth citrus flavor, slightly sweet. It is mellow up front, but on the backside the hops kick in more with a slightly bitter finish.
Smooth, velvet feel. Decent body.
Delicious beer overall.

L: slightly hazy amber under a healthy off white foam stand with good retention and a very fine bead

S: Big tropical fruit, citrus and peach aromas from the galaxy hops are out front with support from the added orange and vanilla aromas

T: mildly sweet and evokes a dreamsicle or a tropical fruit pie but the dreamsicle character is background to the hop tropical fruit flavors and an assertive hop bitterness balances the malty biscuit flavors, the lactose, vanilla and the orange

F: super creamy and luscious with a medium high body and medium low carbonation

O: The brewer has a soft touch with the added orange, vanilla and lactose, letting the tropical fruit flavors from the galaxy hops shine through
