From a 16oz can. Canned on 10/21/2025
This is a very juicy looking beer in my glass. Hazy and murky for days and a pale golden color. There's a 2 finger white head to the beer that has pretty damn good head retention and a good deal of sticky looking lacing on the glass.
Holy cow, the tropical notes in the aroma are quite pronounced. So much grapefruit, pineapple hitting my nose from the hops. There's also an earthy tone to this beer that is quite pleasing.
The flavor isn't anywhere where the nose led me to. There's a bit of pineapple and grapefruit in the flavor. There's a hint of an earthy grassy flavor, but the flavors seem muted compared to the nose. There's a bit of bitterness in this beer that comes into play in the middle.
The body is quite juicy feeling. There's a good softness to the beer. Smooth to a degree. Bitter feeling lingers.
If the flavor were as strong and pronounced as the nose suggested, this beer would knock my socks off. It is good but that one element is lacking.
