This sharp yet delicate west coast India Pale Ale is crafted with precision and a touch of chaos. Pouring a clear amber hue, it slices through with bright notes of citrus, pine, and resin, like a freshly trimmed dinosaur topiary. Beautifully clean, refreshingly bitter, art in every pour

From a 16oz can. Canned on 11/24/2025
Ok, this isn't what I was expecting from the style, since it is supposed to be a west coast IPA. This is a very murky looking and dirty brown color. There's no clarity here. There's a 1 finger white head that has good lacing as it dissipates. I am WTF for sure, and have to wonder if there's a canning mix up here.
The aroma is quite prominent with hops. I get a good deal of pine and some citrus. There's also a big dank hit to my nose.
The flavor has tropical hop flavors up front. Some sweet mango hits right away, but fades fast as hell. The pine flavor with a bit of dank does come into play on the backside. There's a nice bitterness that does linger on my taste buds.
The body is nice feeling. It is full bodied. The beer has a nice feeling from the lingering bitterness that builds.
I did think this might have been a miss-can based on the look, because it is so off for the style. The flavor is good and does seem to style. I am enjoying the flavor, but not the look one bit. You taste with your eyes first, and my eyes are telling me that there's an issue here. I am very willing to revisit this beer with a new release.
