From a 16oz can. Canned on 01/16/2026.
This is a dark looking beer in the glass, pretty much dark brown in color. When I hold it to the light I get some amber hues shining through the glass. There's a 1 finger tan colored head to the beer, even though I did a somewhat aggressive pour. The head really didn't last too long and left no lacing on the glass.
The nose is somewhat light. I do get caramel malt notes to the aroma. I also get a very faint coffee hint to my nose.
The beer is malty in flavor. The caramel flavor seems to be the main flavor hit here. I am getting some cola notes as well as some coffee hints. There's hints of dark fruit that also make it into the flavor profile. Slight hint of brown sugar also makes a showing in here. Not much bitterness at all, just a faint hint of it on the back.
The body is so smooth. There's a bit of a bubbly feeling to the beer, even though there was very little head. There's a bit of a creamy feeling to this beer. Very full bodied.
Quite tasty beer, and seems good to the style. Delicious.
