Love this style of beer but sometimes breweries get brutally carried away with”tart”. Pucker power anyone! Hard to get a well done sour that doesn’t remind me of crab apples when I was a kid. I am not even close to a kid anymore and the tart I liked as a kid is just to tart now. Well this was just a very nice blend and the tart was wonderfully done. I hope to get another one. A friend brought this to me as I am 375 miles away.

this is a great beer, a gose done with guava and mango. both of the fruits are really natural in it, i like how much i can appreciate the actual fruit, not some syrupy extract of them, they are flavorful here without being sweet and without corrupting the base beer at all, which stands as fluffy and wheaty and balanced, just tart enough, nicely salted, and with a great body and active carbonation on it, probably amazing on its own even without the fruit, but i like what the fruit contributes a lot here. the salt and lemony lacto seem to highlight the mango and guava perfectly, where citrus might be too acidic, and pineapple too sweet, these two together give it a tropical vibe without turning into less drinkable juice. great tartness here but not too sour, a little more mango than guava but both really fresh and authentic, and a drying briny salt thing at the end with plenty of wheat malt flavor and body. a really well made beer, clean and nicely fruited, very refreshing and drinkable, one of the better ones of these i have had in awhile...
