I had this on draft and it tasted like a belgian golden ale with riesling grapes added. Out of the bottle it smells much more like grape than beer. Definitely get the belgian yeast aromas coming through as well, but in the background behind this wine. It looks golden and crisp like a lager and had a tremendous and vibrant white head - it sounded like a soda bubbling - that died and left no trace. It tastes so much more like wine than I remember from the draft pour. Wow. I think I could fool someone into thinking this is wine. White grape acidity and bit of tartness. There's some peppery flavor noticeable but not standing out. Feels as carbonated as it looked while pouring (this may be adding to the peppery feel I'm getting). Overall this is interesting and good, but I'm not sure that it's great. (It might be best to note that I don't drink wine because I don't prefer it over beer - aka I don't like wine that much)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
