10oz glass on draft at Rockhound. Served in a snifter glass. Pours a dark black body, one finger offwhite head, good retention, bits of lacing. Smell is espresso, bit of milk chocolate, light roast, a little trace of earthy acidity. Flavour is smooth milk chocolate, black coffee, a slight bit of cream, touch of roasted barley, a little earthiness. Mouthfeel is medium-lighter bodied, appropriate for the low ABV, good carbonation with a smooth, slight coffee creamer finish. Solid coffee stout, nothing ground breaking but balanced with a nice coffee presence; if you enjoy your coffee in the morning, you should enjoy this one.
