Vibe- It feels like a low key beer hall in the back. Nice outdoor seating - for the 3 days in Erie when you can tolerate the artic air. More of a bar feeling in the front room. I have always enjoyed this building - however in the past it was a club that hosted medium to large size events. That being said there can be 150 people at the place now and if they are spread out it still feels a bit empty...and there probably usually aren't 150 people here at a time.
Service- The four times I have been here it has been excellent service! Honestly felt a few times like my waitress was my personal waitress- and that was on Saint Patrick's day.
Beer- Solid. Not fabulous but solid. Last time I was in I think there were near 30 beers on tap- about half brewed there and half other good to great options. So selection great.
Food- better than good. German and American fares. Never been disappointed.
My biggest criticism is that their website blows chunks.
