Canned in a 440ml tallboy and made from waste Rice Krispies
Pours a very slightly hazy lemon jello coloured body with with decent enough white head
Aroma is quite WCIPA grapefruit and sweet cereal grain
It misfires on that with the flavour there, soapy, short on the sweetness, short in the bitterness

L- Pale gold, pours with slight haze and 5mm white head (15 mins later, still holding well).
S- Zesty citrus, I could smell grapefruit from 30-40Cm away the moment I popped the ring-pull.
T- Citrus, and grapefruit is the closest to it I reckon. Thankfully it's not an OTT hipster hop-hammer, it's certainly well hopped but it seems to have as much 'perfume' to it as citrus hop notes. (15 mins later, the citrus effect is softening somewhat and 'broadening' ie more a general citrus flavour than mostly grapefruit being prominent).
F- It's not as dry on the palate as the taste/smell suggest; so it's not a face-twister of a hipster beer like I've had before. The citrus waft on popping the can had me worried. Refreshing, ideal for younger beer drinkers (perhaps), especially on a summer's day.
O- This is of a contemporary style, one considered to pitch to a younger demographic than myself. I find the level of citrus/aroma un-beerlike and a distraction but others will enjoy this one. There is nothing (for the style) apparently 'wrong' here. Plus it's perhaps unusual in the level of fruit/hop elements it has without having made itself undrinkable (to me!). I think this beer is a bit different in that a relatively high proportion of it's character comes through in it's Smell/aroma, and not mostly via it's Taste which seems more common.
Bought from Selfridges, London W1. 440ml can £4.40. BB: 22/08/2020. 'Brewed with upcycled Kellogg's Rice Crispies'.
