A dark beer with a rich combination of malts. In the 18th century very popular with London’s working class, at the moment loved by brewers all over the world. Our perfectly smoked malts give this beer a hint of bacon while the roasted malts add a bit of sweetness.

On tap at Troost Amsterdam.
Dark brown with a tinting of red when the light passes through the bottle just right.
No aroma. Maybe a little smoked malt if I take a deep olfactory pull.
Pleasant smokey flavor with a little chocolate and coffee on the end.
Thin mouthfeel. Seems to evaporate too quickly.
Overall: decent porter. Enjoyable and neither regrettable nor memorable.
