From a 0.33l bottle gifted to me last September by Peter, the owner of Café Frape in Maastricht.... Best before date on the label is 21AUG26.
Pours a hazy, muted golden color. Head is a 1/2" layer of fluffy, creamy white foam. It held a while before ebbing down to a covering layer, with solid lacing. Aroma is a mix of crackery malt and floral, herbal hop notes. Has a decent medium body with a smooth feel overall.
Flavor has a smidge of crackery, bready malt with light sweetness. Hopping takes over shortly, though. It has lots of rindy, pithy action. Is quite bitter but rather refreshing as it coats the palate. Has a suggestion of yeasty spiciness found in many Belgian IPAs ... Quite tasty all in all! Thnx, Peter!!
