Gdańsk 26/7 2019. 50 cl bottle from KoS Minimarket in Old Town Gdańsk. Very colorful painting on the label. Primarily in Orange, Green and Deep Blue.
Pours opaque, dark brown with a small off-white head. Settles as very thin, fine layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. No Lacing.
Aroma is rich, intense, candy-like and very much on the sweet side. Milk chocolate, dark chocolate, brown sugar, Cocoa powder, chocolate moussé.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft, smooth, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is heavy sweet followed by a lighter coffee bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet with a lighter bitter undercurrent. Lingering.
Quite a Chocolate bomb. Like they enrolled most Desserts involving chocolate. They call it “probably the most Chocolate Beer in the World” (a light mockery of Carlsbergs slogan, I suppose). I tend to agree.

One of my favourite beers. On the label, it says "Chocolate Oatmeal Stout". So I picked the closest one I found. Tastes like extra dark chocolate. Extremely bitter, so not for those that don't like bitter beers. Relatively smooth feel. It's been a while since I've had it, so I can't remember all the details.
