Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, barely resulting in a finger of tan head that soon faded to minimal lacing. Deep brown/black color. Very nice smell of tiramisu. Taste is definitely tiramisu first, with some malt and a hint of raspberry at the end. A bit on the sweet side, but not too much, even as it warmed. Almost medium bodied with light carbonation. Haven't had the regular tiramisu stout yet, bit this raspberry version is excellent. Need to grab a couple more.

Had this one on tap. Dark and had a thin, brown head. The aroma of raspberry and chocolate was pronounced and these came through with coffee on the palate. The raspberry notes lingered in the back of the mouth. Very bold flavors!

From the back, far-left of the label: "DATE BOTTLED NOV 26 2019"

Appearance: The beer is black and it has this head which is a mixture of large and dense bubbles. The cap has a milk chocolate brown appearance and it is short without much head retention. It fades to a ring and leaves no lacing.

Aroma: It smells like baker's chocolate and then it starts to smell like milk chocolate. There is a bit of raspberry and cherry cordial aroma in the beer. It smells a lot like opening a chocolate box. There is a milk aroma to the beer which detracts a bit when it overpowers the chocolate and fruit scents at times.

Taste: It tastes like a raspberry chocolate cake. The flavors hit the palate simultaneously and really drive home both chocolate and raspberry flavors. The flavors are very pronounced and clean.

Mouthfeel: The beer is full bodied and smooth. It is easy to drink. There is a light bitterness which is akin to biting into a bit of bitter chocolate.

Overall: The label states that this is "A rum conditioned Imperial Milk Stout aged on whole vanilla beans and locally roasted Ironclad coffee." It also mentions "Raspberry" on the front of the label. The rum, vanilla, and coffee are absent but the beer definitely has a strong raspberry presence. It's a great dessert beer and it would work nicely as a Valentines Day aperitif. I really enjoyed the beer and I would buy it again. I would also highly recommend it if you enjoy dessert beers.

L: Had this beer on-tap at Growlers to Go - Boulevard, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown black color and a thick consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Below average lacing.

S: A very good aroma of raspberries, malt, coffee, and chocolate.

T: Tasted of a good amount of coffee (not too much, though), lots of dark chocolate (slightly sweet, slightly bitter), a good shot of the advertised raspberries (a big factor here), and some malt (present throughout). A subtly rich and focused flavor. The chocolate and raspberries mix well together. Pretty tasty stuff.

F: An average amount of carbonation with a super smooth finish. Medium-bodied.

O: An easy to like stout. Drinkable.
