L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a medium brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored, fairly long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A decent, if slightly subdued, aroma of chocolate, maple syrup, coffee, and roasted malt.
T: Tasted of a hint of coffee (just enough), a decent bit of maple syrup (especially in the finish), a good shot of roasted malt (present throughout; a major ingredient), light hops, and some cocoa notes (could've used a bit more). This is a pretty good flavor, but definitely needs a little boost in some of the ingredients. Still, not bad.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is an uneven beer, but not without its charms. Worth a look.

Poured moderately hard from a bottle into a snifter glass, forming a finger of tan head that soon faded to a ring of lacing. Deep brown color. Maple and woody smell. Taste is similar, with maple forward and more woody following. Definitely a sweet milk stout, but doesn't really resemble the original tiramisu stout. Light to medium bodied with light carbonation. A tasty maple flavored stout.
