330 mL bottle pours very dark brown and moderately syrupy, with a thin layer of fizzy head that takes a moment to emerge, then disappears quickly. In contrast to the previous reviewer, I don't believe this has coffee; it's Peruvian dark chocolate (illanka), molasses (algarobina), and aji amarillo chile peppers. Coffee notes are definitely believable on the nose, but I think they are coming from the raw cacao nibs. Modest capsaicin spice on the palate, with sweetness closer to the finish. A fun flavor journey, well composed. Not overly sweet--probably best as a dessert, but it could also stand up as an accompaniment to a steak or mole dish.

On tap at Hoppy Corner in Paris, France. 12.5 cl poured in a tasting glass. A Peruvian spiced imperial stout. It's brewed with Peruvian coffee, Peruvian chili and Peruvian Molasse.
A big and balanced sweet stout. The chili is there in the backend. The complexity is nice but the sweetness might be a bit high for my taste
