Amber orange color with virtually no head. Flat appearance.
Sweet aroma with notes of Argentinean hops, fusel alcohols, moth balls, caramels, some cloves and green apples.
Sugary flavor with notes of higher alcohols, lots of caramels, cloves, green apple juice, some banana flambé and orange marmalade. Medium dry alcoholic aftertaste with a low bitterness.
Bordering medium body with almost flat carbonation. Alcohol of 9% is felt a bit solvent like but it is not harsh.
This does not feel like a Tripel at all, it resembles more of a mild plain Dubbel and very alcoholic with low hopping. I felt this unbalanced and with a few off-flavors.
