So, I get back home, and it's obvious that a container busted. No bottles were broken, though. Well, the bottle of Kokomo Weekend was missing about 10% of the liquid, so that solved the mystery. I'll find out if it's flat, and if it is, then I'll have to chalk it up to quality control. Opening it up, it's still under pressure, so that's a good sign.
Color is a dark gold. It seems very clear, yet it's diffracting quite severely. Maybe that's just a function of the glass (a teku). Lots of fine carbonation to start, leaving moderate lacing. (Relief.)
Main scents are apple, peach, and lavender. It's moderately sweet. It's almost like a good spread for toast.
Taste is pretty heavy on the malt. What was in the nose is toned way down, unfortunately, but still detectable. Moderate bitterness is clearly from hops, although it evokes a gruit somehow. Good intensity.
A little bit of prickly carbonation, although I'd still call it fine. The alcohol detectability is about what one would expect for a sevener. Unfortunately, the aftertaste drifts even further away from the nose.

660 ml bottle, Southville Deli, Bristol - Pours cloudy orange with a medium white foamy head. Medium carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma - large tropical fruit notes - pineapple/passion fruit. Taste - Sweet, tangy tropical fruit notes - pineapple/passion fruit, pine resin notes, crisp bitter finish. Very nice tropical fruit hop fronted ale. Like pineapple cubes in a glass.
