Crowded on weekdays after work. Loud with Trivia Contest. Lots of flavored beers; no plain Baltic Porter. No plain dark beers at all.

Lively brewery with food truck in industrial park near the Space Center. Service bar opposite the entry with numerous tables about the room and a small patio out front. The place was packed on a Thursday evening. 22 beers on tap heavily flavoring the dark side, which I believe they're noted for. I had the Peanut Butter Chocolate Porter and it was excellent. Friendly, efficient bartender. Great place to grab a few.

Stopped here the day before leaving for a trip to New Orleans from Hobby Airport. Nice big room with many tables. We just caught the tail end of live music. What I heard was good. Nice people at the counter, and a decent selection of beer. The beer was good and went well with the food offered that night. Will go again.

Seriously, I don't get the good reviews here? A really generic and sterile space that has no character. Fold out chairs, TV's, high ceilings, a pathetic little outdoor area. Servers are nice, and seem to know just enough to get by. I really don't get the appeal of sitting down and lingering for a while here? TV's showing all the ESPN channels, for no reason other than that is what is on. Turn the damn things off when there is no purpose for them.
Lots of different beers on tap, but all in that novelty vain. Do people really drink Vanilla Cream Ales more than once? They have so many nitro beers it is ridiculous. I would say a peanut butter chocolate milk stout on nitro is closer to a Zima like alco pop concoction than any beer I have had. Not only that, but all beers I have had are amateurish at best. When I can tell everything is fermented at way to high temps, something is wrong. The Citrus Wheat was possibly the worst wheat beer I have had, the Saison is completely wrong, Wee Heavy is sickly sweet and all ethanol heat. I could not finish a flight.
They have food catered from someplace called "Tasty Treats." Which might very well be good, but there was no reason for me to stay and try them out. It looked like a tiny menu of simple pub grub (which can be great). I think a quesadilla and grilled cheese were the featured items.
I always find it hard to write a bad review like this. Though there is nothing I would recommend here. I'll leave it at that...

It would be nice to have a Koelsch sytle beer, and possibly more IPA varieties.

Quite possibly my favorite brewery experience EVER. Bartender was super cool, genuinely interested in serving us. Brewers were hanging out too, they were psyched to answer our questions and get our feedback. Digs are nice - comfy chairs and sports games projected on the walls. And last but not least, the beer is FANTASTIC. I tried a dozen beers, and half of them were absolute home runs. All the others were very good. If you are in the Houston metro area, you've GOT to find your way to Saloon Door very soon.
