I tried this on tap at the brewpub, served chilled in a snifter.
The color is rosy amber with hazy clarity and thin white head that dissipates. The smell is yeasty with an almost diaper-like tangy funky and green apple smell. The feel is subtle spice with light body and sweetness with low carbonation moderately sour and semi-dry in the finish with tannic quality.
The taste does live up to the name with some vinous elements but mainly the flavor is fruity and sour with low malt and grainy toast with some gentle barrel elements adding tannin woody elements yet slight salinity in the back adds to the dry finish. This is good but perhaps the wine barrel choice is not preferable to this style -based on the color I am guessing red wine -I would think white might work better
