On-tap at Sidellis Lake Tahoe Brewery & Restaurant, South Lake Tahoe, NV
A: The beer is very dark brown in color; when held up to a bright light, light traces of amber shine through. It poured with a quarter finger high dense light beige head that has excellent retention properties and consistently left a short head covering the surface and lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of dark and nutty malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of dark chocolate and nutty malts along with a bit of roasted malts. There is a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is very malty and a bit heavier in body compared to other beers in the style.
