Hazy gold color. Modest bar-poured head. Some streaking on the glass as the beer is consumed.
There are some wild ale yeast smells to this brew. Clean and refreshing but no notable hop.
There’s a white wine flavor to go along with the mild sourness and farmhouse elements. Again, no notable hop to the tongue. Lighter body with elevated carbonation. The finish is quick subtle sourness. There’s also a brief peppery bite. Very short aftertaste.
The brewer called this an IPL but it clearly fits into the farmhouse category. Once I got past my surprise, I enjoyed this beer.
