Trent 14/7 2025. 33 cl bottle from Systembolaget, Emporia, Hyllie. A wild lady riding a anchor surrounded by white gulls on the label.

Pours opaque murky amber with a small off-white head. Stable. Settles as a thin but frothy layer of foam just managing to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.

Aroma is fairly intense with a sweet and sugary odor mingling with boozy alcohol. Dark malts, dark fruits and dark liqueur. Plums marinated in sweet alcohol, raisins and brown sugar. Whiff of citrus.

Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, soft, creamy, almost flat texture.

Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is lightly bitter with a sweet undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry with a boozy sear.

Wholesome Anchor Lady.

Hazy dark amber colour, creamy head.
Aroma: rye, toffee, Coke, some brown sugar, some orange peel, raisins.
Taste: toffee, sweet malt, caramel, raisins, some bitter orange peel. Full bodied. Some burning alcohol.
