Katowice 5/10 2019. 50 cl bottle from Zabska. Very green label with drawing of City-map.
Pours unclear amber with medium-sized white head. Settles as thin layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is medium-intense and of exotic fruit, light citrus and with hints of butter. Peach and Pineapple. Lime and citrus.
Medium carbonation. Thin, oily, lively texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweet undertone. Semi-dry finish.
Decent APA - but I could do without the butter.

Taste - sweet malts, caramel notes, dry hop finish, smoked hues.
Medium body, soft carbonation. Not good.

Pours a clear pale Amber with a medium rocky head that leaves some lace. Nose is grainy with a mix of herbal and citrus hops. Maybe a touch of diactyl. Taste is somewhere between the APA you are expecting and the poor Euro-lager you were worried about. Very little hop or malt flavor with more of the grainy character through. Some bitterness to keep it clean. Overall, a step above the bottom rung, but not a quality craft beer.
