GdaĆsk 22/7 2019. 50 cl from Zabka in Tartaczna, Old Town. Fine, simple Drawing of what I suppose is the Brewery with a nearby Pub where I suppose you can enjoy your Grodziska White IPA. Seems that Grodzisk won a Craft beer competition in 2018 with this beer.
Pours hazy, golden yellow with a big white head. Settles as 3 cm thick, dense Crown of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial Lacing.
Aroma is intense, fruity and sweet-ish. Sweet Peach, ripe Pear and Mango. Citric notes of Grape fruit and Citrus. Light lemonade-ish Vibe from the Wheat. Hints of perfumed Air freshener.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, Soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed by a medium strong citric sour bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for a while. Semi dry finish.
Nice, light summerbeer which manages to combine the sweetness of a Wit with the fresh hoppiness of a IPA.

I'm guessing this is a wheat IPA, though everything is in Polish! There is also a mention of Earl Grey tea on the ingredients...interesting...
There are some great Polish IPA's, though most of them are only sold in specialist bars and are difficult to find in the shops.
It looks like a German Weissbier. Good head, more frothy than creamy.
Aroma is frothy with apricots.
This is not a strong IPA in terms of fruitiness or bitterness, however it has a great refreshing balance and tropicalness, that is perfect for a hot day. The different taste elements, sweetness, bitterness, fruitiness, maltiness etc balance really well. It's difficult not to like this.
The Earl Grey is vagueley there in the background! This addition shows that the brewers of this beer have thought openly out of the box to create something unique, respect to them. There is bitterness from the hops and the tea.
Overall, I really like this. I'm going to google translate the bottle when I have time, as it's certainly worth learning what it says.
This is certainly not a West Coast IPA, it's more subtle and less fruity, however the quality of it's ingredients and overall balance definitely shine.

Pours a hazy straw with small head that leaves some lace. Nose is a grassy pine that has a twinge of sourness. Taste follows, but also has an astringentcy in the bitterness that is unpleasant. Overall, better than this breweries other beers but still not great.
