The beer pours a dark amber/brown color with a thin offwhite head. The aroma is great. It has a very dry, but highly malty scent. It's rich with roasted and caramel malts as well as a warming presence. The taste is good. It has a warm, malty taste that is slow going down, but full of flavor and texture. It boasts of roasted and caramel malts and is quite dry on the finish. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a full bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is another fine offering from these guys. It's full flavored and very satisfying; a nice winter seasonal.

Draught @ Palmer Lake Brewing Company. Bright ruby color. Subtle, deep fruit-laden nose with hints of plums, cherries and marmalade along with a touch of caramel. Malt accented, yet still hoppy, with fruit and caramel flavors behind rows of grapefruit. Not bad.
