Dark brown-reddish colour, no visible sediments and light foam.
Smell: ripped fruits, honey, all surrounded in a bourbon old cask feel.
Tastes like a well made barley wine, with sweet fruits aromas, damped in a strong, but nicely felt alcohol.
Not a very long aftertaste, a little bitter feel - probably due to the wooden chips used on the aging process.
Overall, clearly a very good barley wine!

Hazy dark amber color with beige head. Aroma is sweet, sugary, with some dried dates, even some earthy hops in the background. Taste starts slightly sweet and oxidized with some dried fruits and a hint of wood. The finish has a light, hoppy bitterness. Body is quite light but smooth. Overall it's a good barleywine with nice dried fruit character.
