The first RIS from Hop Hooligans comes once more in a nicely designed bottle with the story of Koschey, a Russian fictional character.
Dark colour, small head, medium carbonation and full body.
Smells nice, like a bourbon.
The taste has a sweetness coming from dried fruits with some exotic aromas also, like the passion fruit. The aged oak feel is present, although some wooden chips were used, not barrels. The bourbon impression is felt over the whole tasting.
Can't wait for another one.

Black color with dark brown head. Aroma has dark fruits like cherries and prunes with sweet chocolate and a touch of liquor. Taste follows with dark malt and dried fruits like plums and dark cherries. Really well balanced overall with a light roasty bitterness on the finish. Full bodied, smooth mouthfeel. Tasty yet easy drinking with nice fruit notes.
