Copenhagen 12/7 2025. 50 cl can from Meny, Illums, Kbh. K. Purple can with a drawing of Ophelia messing with her Blueberry French Toast (I suppose).
Pours opaque dark brown with a small dark, beige head. Settlews as thin, almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. No lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sugary sweet, candy like odor mingling with a bit of tart berries. Dark malts, brown sugar, chocolate cake and toffee. Tart blueberries and currants.
Light carbonation. Thick, oily, soft, viscous, creamy, flat texture.
Flavor is intense with a strong sweetness followed by a moderately strong sourish bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet sugary smoothie with a light bitter undertone. Lingering. Finish is sweet and boozy.
Heavy-hitting, Pastry Stout with a modest tart, fruity presence.
