I am somewhat in agreement with RIO here. The beer is not good. I tried 1 bottle a few months back and it tasted awful. I thought maybe the bottle was bad but after my second today I think it's just the beer. Looks appealing and smells like a lovely vanilla stout, but twice I was not able to make it though half a bottle.

I'm not sure what this beer was like when it was bottled or on tap, but something has gone wrong with it. If you are expecting a nice chewy, toasty imperial stout with vanilla and bourbon accents, you will not find it here.
I am finding is that the aroma is some tart funk, lactose, maybe vanilla. Notes of coffee touched with sour milk, lemon, chocolate and lightly roast malt. As bad as it sounds, I ended up finishing the bottle and thought it could be an average dark wild ale.
