Appearance - The beer poured a reddish hued tan color.
Smell - The nose was largely grapes. It smelled more like wine then beer.
Taste - A lot of grapes were present. The bitterness of great skin toward the back was present. The bass beer was largely masked, but the profile was enjoyable.
Mouthfeel - The bitterness stuck to the roof of the mouth and tongue, giving this a dry feel.
Overall - The beer was quite tasty though not necessarily what I expected.

You can taste the grape must immediately, and is pretty constant through the taste through the bready hops and then fades slightly when the oak tartness and wit yeast kicks in. Sweet, slightly tart, and musky, works for me, but could understand why some might not like it, it is a bit all over the place. I find the journey through the glass I think is a fun one, but definitely wouldn't want more than one glass in an evening. Good for a dessert beer on a warmer day.
