V: An incredibly laid back, easy going vibe. The brewery is situated in the rolling hills of Powhatan County, next to a subdivision. It has a good sized indoor seating area with a bar, as well as a large patio.

Q: Everything looked to be fresh to me; nothing stale around here.

S: Service was very friendly and prompt, and seemed to know a lot about the beer they were serving.

S: They only served in house beers, using about a dozen taps (they also had a fridge stocked with crowlers of their beer. It was an interesting array of brews: A typical IPA, a pale ale, a malt liquor, a grisette, a couple of stouts, and a sweet potato ale. Quality was varying, but in general it was pretty solid.

The place is nice, you can tell a lot of money was invested into it, but this is a destination that was converted into a brewery. From the minds of people who exclusively shop at Target, women are going to be more likely to come here for brunch than guys coming for beers. My wife absolutely loved it, I will take some convincing to go back. The beer is decent, clean but a little subdued.
