Maryensztadt pAPA Americano
On-draught @ Jabeerwocky in Warsaw in Spring 2016.
APA. 5.20% ABV.
Appearance is honey copper. Head is minimal.
Floral and indistinctly citrusy, with a mellow pale malt backbone. I find a brighter malt as well...Pilsner, maybe caraMunich? The balance is mediocre; it's underhopped with underwhelming hop varietals and a more robust malt bill is needed to give it oomph.
Mouthfeel is smooth and wet but a bit too thin. Well-carbonated, though. Light to medium bodied.
Drinkable enough, but ultimately unremarkable. I don't dislike it, but it leaves a lot to be desired.
