Very dusky amber, like an unfiltered, organic honey made from nectar of an unlikely herb’s blossoms. The white head shortens quickly to a quarter-inch or so, but then stabilizes and persists, with attractive cling. Classic IPA aroma, and a flavor that approaches the truly remarkable. There is grapfruity tang; there is a grownup hoppy challenge: these elements are well done, but it’s the subtle authority of the aftertaste where this beer excels. Mouthfeel nears creamy.

Drank three of these at Tasca Caseira in Porto. Ridiculously tasty, smells like a tank of petrol and a granny smith apple orchard had a child out of wedlock. Could easily be my go-to IPA if they distributed in the USA. So good.
