Appearance: pours amber-copper in color with a soapy, off-white head that recedes quickly and leaves no lacing.
Smell: Sweet malty aroma with some fruity notes.
Taste: Malt forward with yeast flavors, fruity hop notes with minimal floral taste. Finishes with a bitter but mild, fruit-ester flavor.
Mouthfeel: Moderate in body and light carbonation. This ale finishes dry with a sticky/oily residual mouthfeel.
Overall: I expected a pale ale when I added this single bottle of 'Fundraiser Ale', but I was pleasantly surprised. An interesting and easy to drink brew, the Tail Ale strikes me perhaps as a Belgian/Pale Ale or another style hybrid. Tasty but easily forgettable.

This is an odd beer here...
It looks like a pale ale... But has the fruity esters of a wheat beer... the body is orangey leaning towards some amber hues. Small off-white head settles quickly to small wisps of bubbles and leaves no lacing.
Smells of sweet malts, some fruity and bubblegummy notes. The yeast really dominates the flavor profile.
The body is medium, rather low in carbonation, and a slight oily feel. The finish is nice, albeit drier than I expected.
This is decent. The beer is good. As it warms, I get some nice citrus notes... It's not super flavorful, but it is easy to drink, and could make a good crossover beer for a BMC drinker.
