Style 7A - Vienna Lager on Beer Judge Certification Program.
Poured to a Brouwerij't IJ glass.
A: The body is yellow-y to orange-y having a very crystalline body. You can really see right through this body. The head leaves tons of lacing but has minor retention and seems to be a bit artificial.
S: The aroma is mild, having some presence of the barley and minor toffee notes. Being a lager, it's normal that it lacks strong profiles but it should be worked out to have a more malty feeling to it.
T: The flavour is very soft of minimally roasted barley that connects with the hoppy flavour in the end. I find it very empty as well.
M: The body is medium low to low. Carbonation is visible, high and a bit harsh. Bitterness is very mild.
O: Overall, it's one of the most uninteresting styles I've ever had. Hope not all beers in this style are like this.
